Defenses can only line up against our 1-Back sets in three ways: Nickel, Dime, and Blitz. These defensive alignments are the sound families to counter our formations. Any other configuration must be exploited through our play selection. We refer to our No-Back personnel grouping as “Joker.” Defenses are frequently misaligned against a No-Back set. Here is the correct alignment to defend against Joker.
