A Super Screen is an effective strategy to counter a defense applying pressure through a pass rush. The key to successful screens lies in disguising the play as a pass for the initial three steps taken by the Quarterback. It is crucial for the Quarterback to convincingly fake a downfield throw, prompting deep Linebacker drops into coverage and facilitating easier blocking assignments for our offensive line. We have run this play successfully rolling the QB in the same direction as the Superback as well as opposite.
